About my approach
I coach with compassion, providing a safe space and support to explore your thoughts in greater depth. I'll stay with you as we work through ideas, options, worries, breakthroughs and plans.
Coaching isn't about being given answers, it's a space to find them within yourself. I'll ask questions, help you understand your thoughts, pick up on the things you might be missing, challenge outdated beliefs, give you tools and techniques to gain the clarity, certainty and self-belief you need to enter a new chapter of your life.
We'll work together on Zoom with flexibility around your work patterns and other commitments of busy lives.
I am accredited in a form of coaching called Relational Dynamics. You can read more about Relational Dynamics below. Through my training in Relational Dynamics with Deb Barnard MBE I have developed skills, tools and techniques to support you to unlock your potential.
I'd love to have a conversation to see how we might be able to work together.

What clients have said
Working together
We can work together in a way that suits your schedule, budget and wishes.
This could look like:
We can discuss options for how we might work together in our Consultation call & find the best option for you.
This could look like:
- Weekly sessions over a fixed period
- An open-ended series, meeting regularly on a rolling basis for as many sessions as you want
- A one-off focussed consultation
- Something else!
We can discuss options for how we might work together in our Consultation call & find the best option for you.
Where we start
Each coaching relationship starts with a 15-20 minute Coaching Consultation. We'll meet on Zoom or over the phone and talk about what brings you to coaching, your hopes for the process and you can ask any questions you might have. There's no charge for these sessions, and no obligation to go ahead if it doesn't feel like the right fit for you.
If we decide to go ahead, we'll create a Coaching Agreement. This outlines the number and length of sessions (or that we'll review it on a rolling basis), the fees we've agreed and any other important terms.
Then we'll begin your coaching journey!
What is coaching?
The International Coaching Federation describes the act of coaching as:
"partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership."
Coaching can reveal potential that has been lying dormant for years, propel you forward in your career or practice, or allow you to see yourself through new eyes.
It's important to stress that coaching is different to something like sports coaching. In sports coaching, the coach is an expert in your niche and the relationship is directive (i.e. the coach tells you how to perform better and you do as they say). This type of coaching is much more self-reflective. Ultimately, the coachee always arrives at their own solutions, and my role is to support you through that journey.

Why I coach
I came to coaching by two different paths.
The first was slower. Over several years of mentoring incredible producers and artists I realised I wanted to learn new ways to support others to access their own inner wisdom and align with their own values, ideas and goals. More than sharing advice or providing suggestions to challenges, I wanted to help people carve out their own journeys in the way that felt most authentic to them.
The second was more immersive. As I developed in my own career I undertook leadership training, including a Clore Leadership residential course, much of which centred on coaching methodologies. Learning these new tools and approaches to life, work and fulfilment inspired me. I realised how much more life satisfaction, achievement and peace can be found when we take time and space to explore our inner worlds. I undertook further coaching myself which was hugely beneficial, helping me to recalibrate my relationships between career, personal life and wellbeing.
When I found myself using coaching skills to support creatives on a more and more regular basis, I realised the paths had converged.
That's when I decided to train as a coach with the aim of helping more people live their lives with purpose and passion. It's a privilege to work with amazing individuals as they clarify their dreams, shore up their self-belief, overcome obstacles and follow through with plans for the most fulfilled version of their lives.

What is Relational Dynamics?
The form of coaching I'm trained in is called Relational Dynamics.
Relational Dynamics is an approach to leadership and life drawing on theories and tools from a range of sources including person-centred coaching, psychology, emotional intelligence, NLP and contemporary research into leadership.
As described by the Association of Coaching, 'Relational Dynamics is a type of Personal/Life Coaching. It is a collaborative, solution-focused, results-oriented and systematic process in which the coach facilitates the enhancement of work performance, life experience, self-directed learning and personal growth of the coachee. It has an emphasis on a person-centred, 'clean' approach and enhanced awareness of the interpersonal relationship and self-awareness of the coach.'

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? ... Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you."
